Question:How fast does light travel?

Light travels at the Speed of Light.

The Speed of Light is 300 million meters per second or 3x108 m/s.

This means that a ray of light will travel a distance of 300,000,000 meters every second.

It is important to remember that all of the electromagnetic radiations travel at the same speed, the speed of light.

The speed of light is a constant and is the fastest speed that it is possible for anything to travel.

Sometimes light-speed is expressed as 300,000 kilometers per second, just to catch students out, so watch your units!
