Question: When will heat flow from one object to another?

Heat only flows when there is a "Temperature Difference" between two objects.

So if an object is hotter than its surroundings, then heat will flow into the surroundings.

If the surrounding environment is warmer than the object then heat will flow into the object.

But, if the object and the surroundings are at the same temperature then nothing will happen.

That also means that heat flow will eventually stop, because as one object cools and the other warms, they will eventually both reach the same temperature.
