Question: How is explaining cooling different from heating?

So far I have only really discussed situations where heat energy was flowing into the object.

Heat transfer always involves pairs of objects.

There is a rule called the "Law of Conservation of Energy", which says that energy is never created or destroyed; it is simply transferred from one location to another or transformed from one form to another.

So when one object is gaining energy due to heating, another object must be losing energy.
